Yoga Positions: poses and stretches

Yoga Notes:

Yoga poses include positions that are do-able even if your skeleton doesn’t quite (yet) feel like a rubber band. Go ahead and try some of the following yoga position exercises. When you do these poses, you’ll notice how relaxing the stretches can be. If you’re having trouble, just stick with easier positions first and keep trying. Pretty soon you’ll be surprised to learn how flexible your body truly is. YES – you are born with it!

One of my favorite yoga position is the shoulder bridge – and makes a good starting point for beginners. A great exercise to do, especially when ending a long stressful day…

Note: Remember to Practice your Breathing Exercises:

  • Breath in through the nose – lift your chin up a bit and expand the chest wide
  • Breath out through your mouth -lower your chin a bit and tighten your belly (core) while slowly letting all air out …
