Chlorophyll in wheat grass, available as powder or in liquid form, is said to increase hemoglobin production to enhance the flow of oxygen in the bloodstream. The bloodstream also supplies cells with vital nutrients and helps rid the body of toxins – through the liver – fast and efficiently. It comes as no surprise then, that wheat grass made its way into the ranks of super foods, green foods, and cereal grasses.
There is already a lot of information on wheatgrass and its nutritional value available. So I’ve gathered a couple of videos on wheat grass and how to grow it and juice it. I hope this post will help you in your search for the desired information. I also added a couple of URLs to web sites that discuss the subject in detail. You can also download a PDF file that helps understand what iron defiency means and how certain foods can help…
The three molecules, Chlorophyll, Hemoglobin and Hemacyanin, are remarkably similar. All three are metalo-organic compounds. Chlorophyll contains magnesium whereas hemoglobin contains iron and hemocyanin copper. The color of these compounds is associated with the metal they contain; red for hemoglobin, green for chlorophyll and blue for hemocyanin. The function of chlorophyll is quite different from that of hemoglobin and hemacyanin. Chlorophyll is involved in the process of photosynthesis; hemaglobin and hemacyanin are carriers of oxygen. I do endorse wheat grass jiuce is good for health.
But NOT for people having Heart Diseases. See the wheat grass juice contains more of Vitamin K, which helps for blood coagulation or clotting. This will harm for the people who already suffers from heart blockages.
It is better to be advised by a cardiologist before using grass juice.

Yes, my favorite green drinks are wheat grass and spirulina. Some supplements or powders even have them combined as well so you get the anti aging superfoods all in one drink. And the good ones really tastes nice – just add cold water. Because of their antioxidants, they are good for anti aging and we all know now that heart disease and so many other conditions are partly caused by free radicals so getting these antioxidant compounds in a natural way and in good doses will all help.
