Weight Loss Help Request:

heart to help

Jenny is asking for your help to find the best way for her to lose weight. Many minds can do more than just one. Please help by reading her story below and posting your thoughts in the comments section:

My sister in law is asking for YOUR help. She wants to learn about the best way to lose weight as she has tried many weight loss plans but failed every time. Knowing about her life, it doesn’t really surprise me. Jenny is a single mother of two, office worker, and junk food lover. She is tall and very pretty, but doesn’t seem to think so. She would love to meet Mr. Right, yet doesn’t feel worthy enough. She strives to be the best role model for her kids and feels she fails. Being overweight is definitely the biggest obstacle that prevents her from moving forward and addressing other issues in her life.

Now Jenny is asking for your help to find the best way for her to lose weight. It doesn’t have to be easy or a lose weight quick approach, but should fit her lifestyle which includes: a 9am – 5pm job, weekends off, likes fast food, jogs around the block on and off, and does not seem to be able to stick with a weight loss plan.

One the easiest ways to lose weight is to incorporate bicycle riding into your daily life. I got my wife into riding and her first 8 mile loop seemed impossible. 1 year later she happily rides up to 50 miles.
From what I am reading riding EASILY fits into her life. Junk food can stay and jogging can be dropped.

Feel free to contact me for longer thoughts.

If she has time, try walking for a half hour three or four times a week. Take the kids with her. Make it a family outing. Try to cut out the junk food and have a treat a couple of times a week with the kids so she doesn’t feel deprived.

I’m also an office worker, who’s successfully lost 3 stone. I run a website aimed at busy people in office-type jobs who are trying to lose weight — http://www.theofficediet.com — and Jen might well find some of the tips there useful!

My best quick advice would be:
- Keep healthy snacks at work
- Make lunch and take it in
- Never skip breakfast
- Get out of the office for some exercise at lunch-time.

Good luck, Jen!

More omega 3′s from fish oil! They reduce inflammation in your body (amoung many other healthy benefits) which helps with weight loss.

You need to take a lot of it though, like 6-9 1,000mg softgels per day. Check with your doctor first.

And then the obvious good nutrition and a work out plan 3-4 times per week.

We all know the answer. It is not rocket science. It is not following the latest diet. It is about doing what we don’t really want to do—-moderation. We know the foods that are the creators of fat; we know the foods that are the destroyers of fat. We just prefer the creators rather than the destroyers. We know that non-exercise is the creator of fat; we know that exercise is the destroyer of fat. We just prefer the creators rather than the destroyers. We just need to do what we know and stop paying our money for what others tell us they know. No diet plans, no diet pills, no diet books; just us and knowing what we need to do.

I know, I know. This will not win me any friends, not even me; but I know that I am right. We all need to get stronger and do what we know is right.
