Strength Training For Women: Will we look like a man?

Not likely. Women would have to take supplements containing synthetic steroids, particularly the hormone testosterone, to alter their physique to look masculine. These supplements are not recommended since they pose serious health risks to women (and men), including fertility and liver disorders.

In conjunction with a healthy diet, strength training will definitely enrich a woman’s life.

It would take a lot of hard work, commitment, and some very heavy weights to get a physique like the woman starring in the following video. But incorporating strength training 4-5 times a week into your workout routine will make you feel good, look good, and will extend into every area of your life. So ladies, don’t be afraid to be strong–muscles look good on us too!
