in bananas, yogurt recipe

For the love of ice cream and protein and fiber, here is an easy and delicious dessert recipe I’d like to share with you. Enjoy…

Greek Yogurt Ice Cream Substitute

Ingredients:

    4 bananas, sliced
1 1/4 cups Greek yogurt (may choose low-fat)
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    2 tablespoons honey
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

In your blender or food processor place all the above ingredients. Puree until there are no lumps from the bananas. Place in freezer container. Allow to freeze until not quite solid. Place back in blender or food processor and puree until very smooth. Freeze until totally solid.

Tip: This is a healthy alternative to ice cream because it contains honey (antioxidants) instead of sugar, real fruit, yogurt cultures, and has just over 3 grams of protein.

I suggest you eat more protein because 3g is laughable. Not sure how you got that number as the greek yogurt i just ate had 4.5 grams per 100g. Neat recipe, will give it a shot with some whey.
