Jump Rope Workouts: What Might the Neighbors Think?

Would you do it? Yes, childhood might be just a glimmer from the past, but I’ll bet you still know how to do your jump roping. The more pressing question is where to find enough space to do this cardio fitness workout.

Here a couple of ideas (yes obvious):

  • Jump rope with your kids – they might show you some new moves
  • Don’t be shy and use your front, back porch or yard
  • Use the neighborhood playground
  • Take advantage of the empty school yard, after hours
  • Invite your friends for rope jumping in the park
  • Or empty parking lot
  • Purchase a rope-less jumping rope for your living room
  • Purchase a Gym Membership
  • And don’t forget to take your favorite music along
  • So what are you waiting for? Do as I do. Put on a good pair of tennis shoes, plug in your MP3 player, and don’t worry what the neighbors think.

    Note: Always listen to your body, start off slowly. Protect your joints by implementing good body posture and stop before it starts hurting.
