Jennifer Aniston Beats Belly Fat and Cellulite

While growing up we could cartwheel, twist, and romp without worry. Flexibility wasn’t an issue then. But it is now! That’s why I like the following video demonstrating the shoulder bridge. This is yoga with just enough stretch to leave me feeling great afterwards. I hope you agree when you give it try.

Jennifer Aniston warms her muscles on the treadmill or elliptical trainer for about 20 minutes before doing the shoulder bridge – outdoors – in 90F degree weather! Hence the name “Hot Yoga”… So, if you don’t live in Malibu or other sun drenched location, crank on the heater before starting this exercise. Take up jogging or rediscover the jump rope - or other aerobic exercise to get your heart rate up fast… and then go on and do the shoulder bridge to dramatically lift your buttocks just in time for the next swim suit issue.

Note: treat yourself to a good pair of tennis shoes to prevent injury!

Why warm up muscles?

Warming up deepens stretches and reaches smaller muscles that are vital to toning your body beautifully. Deep warm stretches helped Jennifer Aniston get rid of any cellulite around the cheeks (also called the gluteus maximus).

Procedure: Lie on your back with knees bent and feet on the ground. Lift your hips toward the ceiling to form a bridge with your body. Hold for 10 breaths or about 30 seconds, and then slowly lower your hips to the ground. For faster results, squeeze and release your butt muscles as you hold the pose. Repeat four times a day.

Muscles toned: the hamstrings, gluteus medius and gluteus maximus.
