This short video shows some fantastic core exercises using both a fitness ball (physioball) and a medicine ball. They may seem a little daunting at first- evidently the woman in this exercise video has been doing this awhile already- but this short routine is certain to help tone and strengthen abs, while shaping the whole body.

She also demonstrates some advanced movements, which is great for those of us who may be getting bored with the usual exercise routines using the fitness ball.

  • Prone Pike using the Fitness Ball: Good for core stabilization.
  • Leg Curl using Fitness Ball: Good for core and butt.
  • Crunches using Fitness Ball: Good for abs/core stabilization.
  • Squat Curl Press using Medicine Ball: Full-body exercise, helps tone and strengthen arms and legs.

The great thing about the stability ball is that you can work all the major muscle groups using this one piece of equipment and train your core at the same time.
