Diets That Work

Are you always searching for a “diet that works”? Interestingly enough, the difficult part is not finding a diet plan that works, because all diet plans work when you are decreasing your caloric intake and work out two hours each day. No, the difficult part about dieting is to find a plan that works for you with minimum effort, or least resistance. For example, it makes no sense to cut your caloric intake while feeling hungry most of the day. Equally useless is to buy a gym pass when you have to push yourself to go there each time. Perhaps you’ve tried a weight loss aid along the way? Caffeine, often the active ingredient in weight loss supplements to help suppress appetite, makes me even more hungry. Thinking “I should not feel hungry” could cause such adversity. So what’s the problem?

Among others, one big problem is dealing with the diet/weight loss industry. Dieters purchase billions in exercise videos and books, diet food programs, gym memberships, trainers and nutritionists, spas, diet patches and pills. Just to name a few. This money making machine makes the health and diet industry a force to reckon with.

Over 30 billion dollars were spent in 2009, not by people growing healthier or losing weight, but by those trying to become healthy or lose weight. Sounds like a paradox, huh? But it’s simple really. Repeat business brings in the cash. Methods and products, which work only for a short time, stimulate the economy. Good for the economy. Waste of time and money for the constant dieter.

Take a look at a sure fire diet that works: Do not to exceed 1000 calories each day for meals, drink water only, and do a 30 minute aerobic/weight-training activity five times a week.

I guarantee, you’ll lose weight fast. But honestly, if you’re not into Gandhi Yoga, you probably end up quitting after getting a whiff of the Starbucks down the street, or your coworker opening that bag of chips. Worse yet, to lose weight for the sake of losing it may just make you want to pick up a gallon of ice-cream in the middle of the night and throw in the towel. And the vicious cycle of bad eating habits, physical short cuts (like taking the car rather than the dog through the park) begins again.

And again you are searching for a miracle diet to help you lose weight quickly and yes, keep it off too. What then, is a true miracle diet? Well, let’s call it the Best Diet.

The best diet is one that fits into your life.

More and more people are coming to realize that in order to lose weight, we have to write our own grocery list, read labels, and get a feel of how often we eat, how much we eat and how healthy our choices are. Combined with physical activity such as regular exercise, and we will not only lose the extra body fat, but we will grow strong, happy and healthy while finally taking control of our destiny..

The following is an excellent resource to help you to the body of your dreams fast:

Interesting blog. Thanks for the tips on dieting. I agree with you the best diet is the one that fits our life. I also think that healthy eating and exercise are more than enough for a fit and happy life.

This is very good advice…over 95% of people who go on one of these fad diets gain back all or MORE of the weight they lost. These companies are in business to make money, and they’re doing very well. Healthy, sustainable weight loss results from making healthy eating and exercise part of your everyday lifestyle.

My suggestion is to not take diet supplements, that contain caffeine, because caffeine causes a lot of side effects, if you are taking it too much!
