As described in the Fitness Nutrition Plan in Step 1, you’ll be eating healthier just by changing your eating habits. More so, for example by cutting a daily sugar loaded juice drink from 8 oz. to 4 oz, you’ll be losing lots of weight in body fat, in the long run. In my case, I’ve lost 70 pounds by doing the steps I am offering here. Yet, I don’t think I’ve could have lost all this weight just by changing my diet plan or eating habits to the better. I had to start exercise and gain muscle mass to activate a metabolism – thought lost.

Sticking to a well structured fitness plan makes it easy, actually enjoyable. You do not need to be a member of a gym or own fancy equipment, although a gym membership would allow you access to a variety of fitness equipment that can be useful.

Either way, I will provide you with two workout plans. Each includes a set of exercises you can do at home as follows or at the gym.

Muscles build quickly if you are just willing to do this exercise, and be mindful of how to align your body.

I like to warm up for push ups by positioning my body for it, stretching my arms shoulder width apart straight up (mindful of not overstretching elbows), aligning my spine to a straight line, which is at all times supported by my core muscles. I keep in this position until I’m feeling shaky.

Often, rather than using this particular muscle group to lift and support the upper body, it’s easy to pull on the neck instead, especially when fast forwarding through the exercise. Then it’s time to breathe deeply and remember why you are lying flat on the floor.

Remember, your purpose is to grow stronger when building your core muscles, not weaken yourself with an injury to the neck or back. That’s why I like this movie. Perfect Push Up Workout For Both Men and Women

So, you are looking for the perfect pushup workout, although the grammatically correct phrase is push up workout, I like the sound of the single compound word “pushup”. Why? When lowering your body you should do it slowly and deliberately and precisely. Pushing back up, on the other hand, seems a tad quicker, although you should do it in the same thoughtful manner. I always tell myself, “it hurts sooo good!”, while straightening my arms back up.

The great thing about doing push ups is that they multiply easily. Doing three today assures you that you can do four tomorrow. So let’s get going. The following push up movie serves as guideline only, and you are not expected to try the one armed push up until you are ready…:). The floor also serves fine for now.
