In Real Life Body Transformation Starts With Confidence…

Ah Body Transformation!

Dee and Buttercup – thoughts on body transformation

In real life body transformation happens when we grow confident of the things we can do. It is a mindful experience and a journey of our own, rather than
comparing ourselves to others.

Trying to copy their success as we see in the media of “Before and Afters” might at first glance seems doable. Yet, those images of complete body make overs are often achieved with methods that’s difficult to relate to.

For example the Kamikaze of show biz, like the contestants of “The Biggest Loser“, bravely pushing through a body numbing experience, propelled by commerce for the purpose to turn ordinary names into trademarks and candy bars into energy snacks.

Burn fat On Atkins without exercise ?

Are you predisposed for getting fat? Perhaps, knowing your family history, you might even resign to such expectation. Yet, this time Dr. David Ludwig of Boston Children’s Hospital wasn’t looking at our family history or genes in his clinical trial, rather at the way our body either utilizes or stores energy, narrowing in on certain nutrients we eat more or less of, such as fat, protein, and carbohydrates. His study had focused on these nutrients, comparing their effects on the body’s metabolism for three popular diet plans. He wanted to know how a combination of nutrients over another could be the source for making us fat, again or in the future. People in the study took in the same number of calories as they expended each day while being on one of the three weight loss plans for 30 days.

Eating A Banana Nut Muffin Or Chocolate And Can I Still Lose Weight Question

Eating A Banana Nut Muffin Or Chocolate And Can I Still Lose Weight Question

Someone in the About Com Forum ask if she can eat banana muffins or chocolate when craving it and still lose weight. In the same breath, she also aligned food as bad for you or healthy, placing banana muffins or chocolate within the bad range. We’re probably all familiar in asking this question, wondering if a particular food or snack is good for us, especially when it says healthy in its headline.

In the real world, however, where food seems abundant and the healthiest meal is not always our choosing even though we are working on that, banana muffins or chocolate shouldn’t be simply defined as bad food sources mainly because they are calorie dense, high in fats, or high in sodium. Even, when you are trying, as the questioner in the forum, to keep within the daily limits of your caloric allowance for losing body fat.

Sounds strange? Just hang in there for a minute with me to see what I mean.

Are You Up For The The Biggest Loser Challenge?

The Biggest Loser Challenge And Sweating Tears

biggest loser challengeI don’t know about you, but for me, to be joining the Biggest Loser Challenge would feel like igniting a rocket under my rear, fueled by pride and self inflicted pain rather than the notion of wanting to be thin and healthy. After all, I’d be watched by millions, flopping feet leisurely over the living room couch with hands on bucket, munching away buttered popcorn, entertained by poor me sweating tears, judging.

Fitness Nutrition Plan: A Simple Guide To Exercising and Eating – Step 1

The Fitness Nutrition Plan: Eating – Step 1

Guest Post: by Jonathan Marchetto

before and after weight loss

look at me now!

The best things in life are free! So is the following Fitness and Nutrition Plan, created initially for myself in hope to lose the body fat I was unable to shed for so long. An experience that makes me aware about the nature of losing weight, the struggle that goes along towards the goal of a slimmer self, in being human and busy with work and family, and chores more pressing than allowing time for the gym or the funds investing in special foods. To make things worse, marketers scramble for our attention, offering the greatest ever fitness programs, FAD diets, and weight loss products up to the point that it gets mind boggling, difficult to compute all of the information about a product as to distinguish between a product’s verifiable science or gimmick.

What Is A Fitness Nutrition Plan?
