They say love goes through the stomach, although, hunger doesn’t strike as punctually as you fight to resist the tingling flutter. You can’t remember if it was through lunch that s-he’d morphed into a high powered magnet of attraction? Was it her voice – a deep glance shared – or her scent of White Tea pheromones mixed with Italian dressing that caused Cupid’s chemicals rush through your brain, prompting your strange behavior and make you lose all cool?
Your voice chokes, and an otherwise simple task such as a 2.2 point multiplication in her presence makes you reach for a calculator buried somewhere. S-he still doesn’t notice. Or does s-he? Mmmh. How not? You feel like a trembling idiot trying to hide your sweaty palms and knees that have turned to jelly like consistency. You look away; rush through your mount of now heavenly shores, suspecting that only a little eye contact would expose you to her, strip you naked right down to the hidden secret of your soul. Yes, that’s right, you are in love. And oh… you can’t wait for tomorrow to feel like that all over again..
For the rest of us there are chocolate covered strawberries. Love chemicals are controlled by a substance that is found in chocolate and strawberries. They are called : phenylethylamine.
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
