Anti shoes: The New Walking Shoes?

Some say anti shoes or barefoot shoes. I like to call them ergonomic fitness wear. It’s like learning to walk all over again.

It is the gentle cradling of the so called anti shoe which makes every step so unique. The special design helps distribute weight on impact and align the spine for good posture. Pressure is taken of your knee and hip joints while walking, running or exercising. A great plus, when you already suffer of such injuries. A nice side effect is increased blood circulation as if doing gentle aerobics. Further more MBT shoes, unlike regular athletic shoes, help firm calf muscles, buttocks, and abdominal muscles while on the go.

At first glance, the barefoot shoes seem a bit strange. Yet for people on the go, walking a lot, like I have to in my job as a health care worker, wearing MBT shoes is by far the easiest way to keep in shape, tone muscle and protect the spine, hips and knees all at the same time. I definitely feel the difference and would not want to change back to a common shoe while at work or walking or jogging. Just love them… Although, they are a bit pricey, but for being on my feet for 8 hours straight, they are a good investment.

Recently featured on Fox News, The Today Show, and Good Morning America, the MBT shoe has been highlighted for its ability to cushion your feet while challenging your muscles. Clinical studies suggest that regular use improves balance, posture and circulation. The benefits are numerous, but here are a few that you can expect from your pair of MBT M.

I wouldn’t really class MBt as barefoot shoes… they may mimic the same motion of walking barefoot but you certainly don’t feel as though you were barefoot! Barefoot enthusiasts go for shoes such as the Vibram FiveFingers which are minimalist shoes which allow your feet and body to move as nature intended. Their thin soles help you connect with the ground beneath you. If you browse the internet at blogs etc there are loads of barefooters, none of which would recommend MBT!

Last months, my friend gave me a pair of MBT walking shoes as a birthday gift. I’m so excited. MBT walking shoes have the better foot wearability and good abrasion resistance.

I really love MBT shoes. It feels like you’re walking on a cloud. I love that you can get them occasionally on a discounted price on discontinued items.
