Acai Berry Diet Supplement: Good For Weight Loss?

Hot on Oprah’s diet list, the Acai berry. Yet, not too long ago, it was the African Hoodia cactus, and the Himalayan Goji berry that made the news. Why now the acai berry? In short, it’s all about phytonutrients: the active antioxidants found particularly in fruit and veggies. The particular phytonutrients of the acai berry have an antioxidant activity significantly higher than any other berry, including blueberries. But how can antioxidant activity help us lose weight and gain a slimmer waist line? First, a brief note about the Acai berry.

Like the Spanish conquistadors, our search for the perfect diet supplement seems to lead to ever more exotic
places. Amazonian natives, who for centuries were harvesting this palm’s fruit solely for their own consumption, export it now. Judging from the price we have to pay for Acai berry products, these people should now be able to afford more variety in their diet and exchange huts for condos (couldn’t resist throwing this in). Unfortunately, we won’t ever find fresh acai berry at the Supermarket because its nutrients are highly perishable. So they are freeze dried before they hit the weight loss diet market, in pulp, tablets, capsules, or in juices.

Now back to why the Acai berry’s phytonutrients are said to work so well as a diet supplement.

As you probably already know, antioxidants act like little soldiers eliminating free radicals that destroy and damage healthy cells. When dieting and exercising our body not only sheds fat, but also releases the toxins that were stored in this fat. These toxins are processed and excreted through the liver. Antioxidants help by scavenging some of these toxins so the liver can work more efficiently, thus improving metabolism. So, by improving liver function, the body is better able to metabolize not only toxins and free radicals, but also fats and carbs.

Weight loss industry will focus on the way people should feel while doing it, in order to achieve better results and stay healthy all the time. Being healthy and thin is not a dream, it should be something, that is a reasonable and easy to be done.

Taking the Acai Berry has changed my life in many ways. I have more energy, I am healthier, and have been able to get over that “so called” hump in the gym. It’s amazing that the mass media is just finding out about this amazing Super Fruit. I highly recommend it to everyone! In fact, I HAVE recommended it to everyone:).
There are so many good things about the Acai Berry; the antioxidants, building the immune system, and most importantly, fighting the number 1 and 2 causes of death in the United States….heart disease and cancer. Enjoy getting healthy everyone, you deserve it!

If you want a simple, no-nonsense diet that is practically guaranteed to work, you need to follow the common sense diet.
Eat small amounts of healthy food. Exercise regularly. Limit your calories. That is all you need to do and you will lose weight. It’s a scientific fact. In order to effectively lose weight, your body needs to burn more calories than you are eating. Healthy foods that are low in calories will help you get the nutrition you need while you are restricting calories so that you can lose weight.
If you use common sense and planning, you can find ways to eat healthy, low calorie foods no matter where you are and no matter how much time you may or may not have. Making time for exercise is important in weight loss but it’s easy to work exercise into an already busy schedule without too much effort. Up to me weight loss pills are the best way to lose weight.

If you use common sense and planning, you can find ways to eat healthy, low calorie foods no matter where you are and no matter how much time you may or may not have. Making time for exercise is important in weight loss but it’s easy to work exercise into an already busy schedule without too much effort. Up to me weight loss pills are the best way to lose weight.

I love acai berrys used them a couple of month ago and lost about 10 pound in 3 week using them again before i go on holiday in a few week

acai berry is full of nutritions, great fro weight loss too. It picked up the hype from the day it is added in the Oprah’s diet list
